Our goal is one million trees for the villages of north Bihar.

One Million Trees drive, Singhwara police station, August 2026

A tree only makes a difference if someone looks after it.

A greener village is part of how MESKP answers the cycle of floods and poverty in north Bihar. But planting is the easy part; most saplings need care through their first dry season to survive.

Through our One Million Tree Plantation drive, saplings are planted on degraded village land, school grounds and roadsides, and in family homesteads as fruit trees that add to the household's nutrition. Every sapling is adopted by a family or by students, who water and protect it through its first dry season. We have planted and cared for 30,000 saplings.
